Weather Policy

Novi Parks, recreation and Forestry follows the MHSAA guidelines for our weather policy which states the following:

Games are delayed 30 minutes from the site or sound of lightning or thunder. In the case of thunder and lightning, it is our policy that teams leave the field of play and return to their vehicles until the field supervisor has issued an all clear. The inclement weather policy will be strictly enforced. The safety of participants at our facilities is #1 on our priority list. Please, in the event of inclement weather, let's work together to make sure that the safety of our community members is brought to the forefront.
